Stripes of Many Colors

We're on schedule. Our days work is careful attention to edges. Michael Hammond, Jose Piedra and I are working on stripes.

Anne Marchand and Michael Hammond

The Crystal City Business Improvement District commissioned Washington-based artist Anne Marchand to design a mural titled Prism, for the Route 1 Overpass along 18th Street. The piece, welcomes pedestrians and cars into the Crystal City Neighborhood. Painted on thirty five, 4 ft x 9 ft, 4 inches concrete panels the mural spans the 160 ft wall. Another Art Wall, titled Ellipsis can be seen at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia.
